Indigo Dyeing Workshop at Casa de Stela Studio
Date: Wednesday, November 12th
Time: 6:00–8:00pm
Discover the magic of indigo — known as the “king of dyes” — in this hands-on evening workshop. You’ll learn the basics of working with a traditional indigo vat and create your own set of eight hand-dyed cotton napkins — perfect for everyday use or holiday gatherings.
In addition to your napkins, you’re welcome to bring one small personal item (100% natural fiber and prewashed) to dip into the indigo vat and make uniquely your own.
No prior dyeing experience is required! Just bring your curiosity and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little blue — or bring an apron to protect your outfit.
By the end of the night, you’ll leave with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind indigo textile set and the knowledge to continue exploring this centuries-old dyeing tradition.
